Run scanner for trouble codes, some auto parts stores will do this for free, change trans fluid and filter, have speed sensor in tranny checked or replaced

Hi,
a 6ya Mechanic can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repair professionals here in the US.
click here to Talk to a Mechanic (only for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

Trans problems after service

Depends on vehicle if the trans was service take it back to shop they screwed up. Check the fluid level low trans fluid means the tranny won't have proper pressure needed to shift, if the fluid level is good. Then I would suggest bringing it to a qualified tranny shop since the problem could be a dirty tranny filter, loose or misadjusted linkage, dirty valve body, bad or dirty solenoids, bad trans controller, or about a hundred other issues

Find another Honda Dealer and tell them the trans doesnt shift right and it makes noise, go along with the tech on a test drive so he can feel and hear what your are feeling/ hearing.

Definitely something wrong within the transmission. Hondas have never been the smoothest shifting transmissions, especially with some miles on them. What you are experiencing is beyond that though. Get a second or third opinion from different dealers.

Im not real familiar with that particular car but it sounds like the line pressure is high for your shifts if you can feel them now. Load is generally input to the computer through the throttle position sensor. I would have the TPS thoroughly tested just as a place to start. Shift delay is not generally a good sign and usually points to internal wear. The fact that it hasnt thrown a code should be a clue as to what the problem is for someone really familiar with those transmissions. If I was you id try a different Hyundai dealer. If you are lucky you might find one with an intelligent ape employed.
(sorry not a fan of dealers) :)

I would leave it at the dealer until it meets your satisfaction. Also, don't take delivery of it ,until you drive it with the tech that worked on it,so he understands the issues.
