A dealership will only sell the entire tank. best bet is to find one in a salvage yard. you can take the whole assembly or just the parts you need. or look online at "rockauto dot com"

Where can I purchase fuse #45 for my chevrolet equinox lt 2007 in richmond, va

It sounds as if the windshield washer pump, located at the base of the windshield washer fluid reservoir, has lost it's seal. When this occurs, washer fluid seeps into the pump and shorts it out. I advise that you remove the pump to confirm this before replacing the fuse. A replacement wind washer pump and fuse can be found at your dealer, local auto parts store or the internet ( has always been a great source for quality parts at a very competitive price and I use them all the time). Hope this helps.

Fix my horn and washier fluid

Two independent systems. Horn just wears out, needs to be replaced usually.

Washer fluid pump or a broken line, have a friend hit the button for washer fluid and see if you can see excess liquid coming from anywhere under the hood. If not, the pump is more than likely just burned out as well.

Cheap parts and easy to get at a local auto parts store. Most counter-people will even talk you through a repair like that.

My 2003 malibu-the windshield wipers work but I,m not getting any washer fluid-usually you can hear the motor when you push the button to get washer fluid-I,m not hearing anything. Also where is the washer...

I had this problem last month. I was pushing the fluid button and was not hearing the motor. There could be two problems in this case. Either the unit in the steering wheel is malfunctioning, or there may have been non winter washer fluid in the pump and it froze and broke. In my case it was both, the button had to be jammed in to work, so the whole unit was replaced(turn signal and wiper control are together). The second problem was the the washer motor and is located on the drivers side, right under the washer fluid container. If you have parts laying around they are both very easy to fix.

My windshield wiper fluid won't spray out.

Have some one run them while you are under the hood, if you can hear the washer pump running. if it is,check all the rubber tubes to see if they are hooked up, if they are see if they are clogged, or replace the nozzles/squirters. if you dont hear the washer pump running, replace it. Any local parts store can get it, located around or at the bottle where you fill the washer fluid.

My 2001 pontiac grand prix washer fluid will not spray. There is fluid in the tank and the motor sounds like it is working.

Two possibilities. Look around under car, is washer fluid dripping down? If so a tubing line has come loose. Just reconnect. Or most probable the seals in pump have failed, and there is no pumping action. Washer pumps can usually be replaced. Check auto parts store for availability.

How do you replace the washer fluid pump?

It is usually located on the bottom of the windshield washer fluid reservoir(3-4 inches long,1.5 inch in diameter.Remove it,let the fluid comes out.Install new part opposite of removing the old one and voila!!

I have a 2005 Chevy Equinox and my windshield washer fluid does not work. The reservoir is full and the wipers wipe, but no fluid comes out. nothing is leaking under the car either. what else can i check...

u will need to pull the washer fluid tank out and check to see if the tank motor that pumps the fluid is getting 12 volts when the washer switch is pushed, if it is the pump will need to be replaced, if it isn't then the washer switch is defective, this switch is part of the turn signal switch.
