Question about 1999 Honda Odyssey
It is not hard at all, first you will ned to be careful working around the air bag system, in addition, you will need to remove the b=neg cable connection from the battery, however, if you have a factory honda car stereo, you will need to have the access code to re activate your stereo or it will not work, a built in anti theft device. remove part of the lower dash, several screws in the steering column, the plastic covering should then allow access to the ignition switch. remove the two wire harnesses connected to the ignition, normally, three screws to remove the switch, replace and re assemble as you have taken apart. the switch will cost around 50-60 dollars at your local autoparts store. two to three hours time wise, good luck!
