On my 2005 F/expdn, if I am on red light stop, when rpm goes under 50 x 1000 my car shutdown. If I keep it above 50 by pressing accelrator is OK, pl suggest

1st your car should not idle below 110 rpm even in gear

idle problems on these are caused by both broken or open vac ports or a dirty throttle body the A/F ratio cant get a correct reading

2007 chevrolet impalahave a 07 impala runs great till ur rpm meter goes past 4000rpm then drops down to 0 runs bad after shut down engine for around 10 mins then runs good again check with scanner no

It needs a scanner on it to find the problem while driving it. Several things can cause this. At 4000 rpm's in park the ecm will suppress the engine. this would be the Neutral safety switch. So going from there, if not the switch, it could be wiring or a bad buffer in the ecm.

Please look into your rpm gauge if you have one when you are cranking the motor does the gauge slightly move up and down if it does not it is your cam sensor please email me at sj196653@yahoo.com so we can chat about it if the rpm gauge does not move I will guide you threw the rest.
