Question about 1992 Oldsmobile Cutlass
How do i replace the pump with out droping the tank ? somone please help me
You can do it, but it's a mickey mouse way. Cut a hole in the floor above the gas tank where the fuel pump mounting plate is. Be careful not to cut any fuel lines, wires, or the tank itself, or you could have a fire or explosion. Then when you are done, you will need to reattach and seal the cut-out section somehow. Too much rigmarole if you ask me.
Much safer to just drop the tank... a litle more work, but less pissing around. Good Luck.
