The first thing I would do since you think it was flooded is to replace the sparkplugs, sometimes if a spark plug has been washed out with gas you cannot get it completely dried out. After you replace sparkplugs try to start the engine. If the engine starts I would still recommend that you change your oil because of fuel saturation. If your engine fails to start I would suspect that you have a bad crankshaft position sensor as it is known to give problems. The crankshaft position sensor is located on the top of the transmission bell housing on the drivers side.

Need to know the colours and order of the injector wires on a 1999 jeep grand Cherokee Laredo with a 4.0 straight six

Find it in the workshop repair manual wiring diagram . If you don't have a manual you may be able to get a page print out from a near by repair shop.

My 1996 jeep limited grand cherokee wont start up. It turs over, but wont start

Fuel, fire and exhaust. Pull a plugwire and check for spark. If it is firing check fuel system for pressure.

My 1996 jeep laredo straight 6 does not turn on, it cranks over real good. also when i open the key switch it says empty on fuel and i just filled the tank.i also changed the computer.

I would try a little starting fluid into the system and see if it starts that way, letting you know you might be getting spark and not gas the other thing is to check with one of the plug wires and check for spark, the common items i end up replacing are more the crankshaft position sensor and the pickup in the distributor more than anything.

I have a 97 jeep grand cherokee laredo and it is back firing out of the throttle body like it's not getting enough gas. Could you help me out.

Check all the vacuum hoses on the intake manifold for a leak. Replace all broken and cracked lines. Check from the coil to spark plug wires with an inline spark tester for fire. Check the spark plugs for fouling and cracked terminals. Inspect the spark plug wires for worn or cracks. If you can check the fuel pressure to the throttle body. Also look at the air filter. Hope this will help you.

My 1996 jeep laredo wont fire up

check all the spark plugs, plug wires, the rotor, if it is getting fuel or not to the spark plugs, or if it is flooded then try pressing the gas pedal all the way to the floor when trying to start it, this will cut off the fuel supply and you will only fire off what is already in the engine, then let off the pedal when it is running, or if you were pressing this to the floor all the way when trying to start it the first time, then leave the pedal alone to get fuel in the engine so it will have something to fire off of.

1993 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE LAREDO IM TOTALLY BAFFLED

Back up a minute...Do you have spark from the coil wire? (juice from coil) If so, change or check rotor and cap (wires do not all go bad at same time so unless they are wet, likely at least good enough to start engine)
