Question about 1997 Chrysler Concorde

1 Answer

My blower motor never work, and it's been getting cold so it's time to get it fixed. The heat comes on, and you can hear it changing from vents to floor and feel a little heat, it just dont blow. So I took it and got a diagnoic on it and they told me it's automatic climate control blower motor module. Now is it the climate control and the blower resistor that needs to be changed. They want 500 bucks to fix it and i dont have that type of money

You can purchase a repair manual for the car on ebay motors that will have a electrical component locator for $20.00, First try looking under the dash board in the general area of the glove box to locate the heater box the fan resistor will have 3 or 4 wires going to the side of the heater box it is held on by small machine screws usually remove with a 1/4" socket wrench with the appropriate size socket usually an 8 or 9 mm hopefully you can change it yourself you may need to remove a cover underneath to gain access to the heater box if not get the cd repair manual on ebay to walk you through the repair.

My 2008 Suzuki SX4 doesn't blow out any hot or cold air. You can feel heat slowly come out of the vents when I turn the heat on. How can I fix this?

Do you hear the blower motor working? If yes, then there is a problem with the HVAC door assembly. Maybe a mode control switch. If no, then the fault is in the blower motor/wiring/switch, fuses. I would start with the fuses first, go from there

No air coming out of vents

On Top of your Blower Motor is a Resister that has gone bad. Most Blower Motors now have the Resister built to the Blower Motor itself but some are serviceable. Before you remove and replace the Blower, test the Power that is getting to the Motor. If the power is getting there, then you have an easy fix... The Power will be variable when you change the SPEED SELECTED (that is another test).

My front heater is throwing very little heat the back is throwing more heat could hear the back blower but not the front

If you cant hear the blower on the front side, its probably gone out. If you can hear the blower and theres cold air coming out the vent, its the flap that switches from hot to cold thats not working

Heat not working in 1997 sable

I need to know what you mean by the heat is not working. Do you hear the blower motor working? Is there air flow through the vent? Can you hear a change in air flow if you switch from full hot to full cold? Is the coolant level full? Does the cars temp gauge come up to operating temp? Provide some answers to these questions and we should be able to figure this out.
