Best way to change a starter on a 2003 Cadillac Deville.

Take it to someone else would be the easiest. On that engine you have to pull the intake. The starter is just under the intake. Not a hard job. I wouldn't call it a job for a beginner.

Changing the starter?? what's the easiest way to get it out?

The easiest way to get this starter out is to jack up the front of the car, to where you can crawl around under it with ease, then support it with jack stands so nothing bad happens to you. After that is accomplished simply remove your ignition leads then remove the two bolts that hold that little starter in.Hope I could help!!! Thanks!!

Reaching top starter bolt.....

Easiest way I have done this is by reomving the rubber intake pipe. Then by using a 14mm flex socket with a 6 inch extension. You may also have to remove the starter to give yourself a little bit more room.
