You cannot change the filter unless you have access to a lift or pit. It is located on the back of the engine, recessed above the front axle. I took mine to a friends garage and even with the car raised, it still took a filter wrench on an extension bar to get to it. It is impossible to reach it if all you have is a jack or ramps in the driveway.

    Hello to all.
In my experience it is quite possible to change the oil filter just using a trolly jack - because I have done it!. True, the oil filter is well hidden, and you need a short filter removal tool since there is limited turning space.

    Good luck,

Hi i have a honda hrv 2001 4x4 am losing power when accelerating a need to drop down gears to gain power ?

It sounds like you may have a engine that is losing compression, or there could also be a vacuum leak. Also faulty spark plugs and/or wires can cause a loss of engine power. And the last, but often the easiest to fix, is change the air filter. Check the air filter first.

How to locate fuse box honda hrv

There are 2 fuse box locations

one is in the engine bay near just above the battery - there is a useful fuse puller tool in this also!
The second is located on the outside panel below the steering wheel - however you need to be a contortionist to get to it!

How do you fix a code p0700 and 70-03 on a honda hrv? the Honda is shaking when is stopped and sometimes accelerates when it is stoped

The 700 is a generic transmission malfuction code. Anything that goes wrong wih the solenoid package will set this code. The other I haven't seen, typo maybe? If it is 703 then it is a brake switch circuit b malfuntion. The 700 will need more diagnostics to find whats exactly wrong with it, or you can replace the entire solenoid package in the transmission. 703 replace the brake switch on the brake pedal. Most solenoid packages come out fairly easy, just messy. Drop the pan, lots of oil, remove the filter, usually just snaps in, some bolt in, About a dozen bolts and remove the solenoid package.

Windscreen water pump stop working in my honda hrv ,the pump dont made any noisse just dead

It's located on the side of the washer fluid reservoir, have someone try the washer pump while you make sure it is getting 12V. If it is not, check the fuse. If it is, find a replacement. Cheers bro.
