Sounds like the Catalytic converter needs to be looked at or replaced.

Engine missfire will cause the cat light to come on as unburnt fuel burns in the cat. Fix the missfire.

Audi Quattro 2001 A 4 manual rough idling, engine bogs when accelerating. Check engine light flashes only when moving

You have a engine misfire ! You should have it checked out . could have a bad ignition coil , plug wire if it has them , spark plugs ! A flashing check engine light. means the engine computer has detected a catalytic converter damaging misfire ! You should not drive it like that , if you damage the catalytic converter it could cost a thousand dollars to fix !

2003 Audi A6 allroad, seems to be misfiring, idles extremely rough, check engine light flashing and will not accelerate, could this be the coil packs and spark plugs?

Yes the coil pack is a common problem But you should take the car to a place like Auto Zone where they will read the fault codes to see why the check engine light came on. Then you'll have a better idea of what the problem is. It will tell you which cyl. is causing the missing.

While driving the car started to miss badly, the check engine light came on then began to flash. checked for codes, engine missfire was the only stored code. owners man. said cat. problem ?

It's not a cat problem or you'd have misfires on all cylinders. P0300 is random misfires, and the codes increment to show what cylinder is misfiring. P0301 is a misfire on cylinder 1, P0302 is cylinder 2, etc. You likely have a bad coilpack. Whichever cylinder is indicated, replace that coilpack.

Needs fuse box location and car idles rough

Fuse box is behind the soft panel under your steering wheel. Is your check engine light flashing or on? Would be a misfire causing the rough idle if it is flashing. A possible bad coil. If its just a shake with no check engine light then it could just be a motor mount.

2007 G5 Rough running (missing). Doesn't die.

Hi shoemaker.
Fuel filter issues show up in high demand fuel needs such as passing or going up hills. Rarely do they cause rough idle problems.
Is the check engine light on or flashing? A flashing light indicates engine misfire and should be repaired as soon as possible.
So you could have a vacuum leak, a stuck EGR valve, bad ignition coil, worn spark plug, and many other items.
If you don't have a check engine light and haven't done a tune up do one to eliminate a few items and see if that smooths it out.
If you have further questions ask me and I will check and answer you.

Check engine light even after servicing to correct

you have a misfire, the eng light flashes, avoid driving it , or it can damage the cat converter,i dont know what repair was done, but if you replaced the spark plugs one may be damaged, or incorrect plug gap can cause this concern.
