Faulty throwout bearing. I know the VW tranys have an unusual clutch release system, I forget how it is set up. I believe the trany has to come out to replace the bearing. Good luck.

It should mount right behind the clutch pedal. When you push pedal the switch should engage when pedal is let out the switch disengages kinda like the brake light switch but backwards.

Clutch not grabbing instantly

Sounds kinda like slave cylinder, or throw out bearing. Normally a hydraulic clutch will have a small reservoir under the hood, and won't give any trouble until they completely go out.

How do i adjust clutch travel on a 1988 ford bronco II. I am a big person and can't push the clutch all the way down. When my wife drives it, it's fine...shifts and everything effortlessly

Kinda sounds like you might be pushing on the brake at the same time since they are close together. If it is working fine for her i would move my foot over just a bit. There are no adjustments since they have a hydraulic system, just make sure the fluid is up in the resevoir it is located on the drivers side under the hood back by the firewall to the right hand side of the brake booster, it is plastic and round with a cap on it, you will be able to see fluid through it should be approx half way..

My 1999 mitsubishi galant gairbox is so laud..if i push in d cluch then its goes quiet,,,its kinda laud in any gear,,whats can be the problem?

It is the clutch throw out bearing. If you don't mind taking the transmission out, you can go nahead and buy a clutch kit replacing the clutch and pressure plate as well
