Yes, of course! Things are just packed into a smaller space now, and there is a lot more Stuff!

Your knowledge as an old time mechanic is worth a lot! Basic procedures still apply here, it's still 'Wrench Bending'.

Tell me which belt you want to change, and I'll explain the procedure step by step. Or all the belts, if this is what you wish.

Why my new drive belt jumpping my name is benito dungo also ill change a new tensioner assy.

if your drive belt is jumping you have major problems, who fitted it.
It should be a good quality belt and should, in most cases, be fitted along with a new tensioner and water pump.(according to what the vehicle is.) If it is new it is possible it has not been fitted correctly, the tension needs to be exactly as specified by the manufacturer. (I amassuming you are referring to a cambelt?)Get a proper / qualified mechanic to take a look at the work, coule cost you a new engine otherwise.
Good Luck

How to chang timing belt 2005 Kia Rio

2005 ?? and only 70k ,i dont think it needs changing yet till about 120k depending on your local ambient climate ,if in a hot dry area then 7 yrs old yes change but if in a more temperate climate then it will be good for at least till its 10 yrs old ,modern belts are far superior to older ones from the 90s ,Then entrust it to a mechanic because one slip up can ruin the engine ,i would not recomend this job to a weekend mechanic who needs to ask on here how to do it ,yes i can tell you and its not difficult but the consequences of making a mistake ??

Subaru Outback with timing tensioner failure. Is it possible engine is not damaged?

Is it possible that is good? Yes there is a chance. Either way the only way to know is, to replace the belt and check if it starts.

My '96 RAV4 died while I was driving it. I thought it was an alternator or battery issue because the electical system was losing power. However the mechanic (who changed the oil & inspected the car the...

yes it is...
usually a timing belt or chain has to be changed every 100,000 miles...
if it doesn't then it might crack of...then it might also bust the engine like your mechanic told you...
if you did change it on 100,000 miles them i don't think what your mechanic said is true...it might be an electric problem...

I just had the belts changed on my 1998 Plymouth Breeze and the power steering pump and bracket changed. I have noticed lately that there is a squealing noise coming from under the hood. Could my belts...

The belts shouldn't need to be changed again. There are a number of reasons why the belt could be squealing. There could be too little tension on the belt, either adjusted incorrectly or a bad automatic tensioner. Fluids could be leaking onto the belt. Pulleys could be misaligned or it's possible that the wrong size belt was used. I would bring it back to whomever changed the belts and explain what is occurring and under what conditions.

Timing belt

I call B.S! A 6 mo old belt won't look old and cracked like a 5 or 10 year old belt. Sure they can't exactly tell that it's new (6 mo is not) but they can tell that it is not worn! My mother in law used to get lied to by mechanics all the time. I would replace her brakes and two months later a mechanic would tell her she needed new brakes and that it was dangerous to continue driving. I would get so mad that they would con her like that.

Allways ask for your old parts back from the shop!

Engine starts, but won't stay started unless I step on the gas.

It sounds like to me your mechanic recommened you change your timing belt and water pump due to a maintance issue. If vehicle still runs good with old timing belt new belt wont change running. Cold weather and low cranking amps (poor battery) will cause starting problems.
