Install nitrous, four turbo's and raise the compression to14:1. Then install 1:1 gearing. (A jet engine may also help.)

When im driving my 98 4x4 tacoma, it will violently vibrate at speeds of 40mph and then again at 60mph, then drive simi smooth after...any ideas as to what this could be, U-joint? wheel bearings?

Best guess is worn steering tie rods first. it doesn't take much wear for wheel shake to occur in the 4wd versions. next would be other steering components- idler arm and pitman arm. next would be ball joints- these are probably already needing replacement due to 4wd and age.
Good luck

5 speed trans 96 tacoma jumping out of gear 1st through 4th gears when you let off the gas

Hi there,

This commonly occurs when either the Shift Linkage is faulty (or simiply needs adjustment), Shifter Fork is loose, or there is excessive movement of the Input Shaft.

Adjusting the shift linkage would be your first task. If this doesn't correct the problem, then you will need to investigate the other 2 components as suggested above.

Cheers,

98 toyota tacoma tipped on the left side

the weak spring is making it tip. also you say the other shock is leaking fluid. you need to replace both shocks and springs, the seem to have been worn down, there is no fix other than using spring blocks to boost up the saging side, but i would recommend replacing it all.

Wont start, just clicks.

This problem is caused by the starter motor contacts inside the starter solenoid being worn burned and pitted, U CAN REPLACE JUST THE CONTACTS FOR ABOUT $15, CHECK EBAY MOTORS FOR THE PARTS FOR YOUR YEAR OF TRUCK.

2006 Toyota Tacoma V6 engine oil sensor location

There is not enough flow at the sensor for a second oil filter. The sensor is at a dead end in the oil gallery. I recommend that you persue other options here. If you are concerned about oil contamination, don't be. There is nothing better than the factory filter...Look into adding more oil capacity; Look into an engine oil cooler; there is really no need for a second filter.
