On starting the car, a yellow indicator blinks then stops - it looks like a wrench. Can't find it in the manual? Any ideas?

I have a 2006 Jetta TDI. I am unable to reset the blinking wrench since changing the oil. The manual I have is for a model with a few more bells and whistles than my car has. I do not have the buttons on...

that blinking light is telling you to take it to the dealer so they can make money from you the only way to stop it is with the tool they have. that is why they do it.

Vauxhall calibra will not start ignition light

the flash indicates a code count the number of blinks usually a shot blink 1,2,3and so on followed by another series of blinks and it may even give 2 or more codes depending write them down and look the code up on line it could indicate that a door is open causing this issue **** as a sensor is not reading correctly a few other ideas to start with its just a matter of breaking it all down one section of area at a time to figure out the cause

Please note:

Honda makes reference to proper vehicle maintenance in their service/user manual. Consult your authorized Honda dealer before doing anything that may void your vehicle warranty.

Owner's Manual page 193-197.

Resetting the Engine Oil Life
Indicator

Your dealer will reset the display
after completing the required
maintenance service. You will see
‘‘OIL LIFE 100 %’’ on the odometer/
trip meter display the next time you
turn the ignition switch to the ON
(II) position.

If maintenance service is done by
someone other than your dealer,
reset the maintenance minder as
follows:

1. Turn the ignition switch to the ON
(II) position.

2. Press the Select/Reset knob until
the engine oil life indicator is
displayed.

3. Press the Select/Reset knob for
more than 10 seconds. The engine
oil life indicator and the
maintenance item code(s) will
blink.

4. Press the Select/Reset knob for
more than 5 seconds. The
maintenance items code(s) will
disappear, and the engine oil life
will reset to ‘‘100.’’

Important Maintenance
Precautions

If you have the required service
done but do not reset the display, or
reset the display without doing the
service, the system will not show the
proper maintenance intervals. This
can lead to seriousmechanical
problems because you will no longer
have an accurate record of when
maintenance is needed.
Your authorized Honda dealer
knows your vehicle best and can
provide competent, efficient service.
However, service at a dealer is not
mandatory to keep your warranties
in effect. Maintenance may be done
by any qualified service facility or
person who is skilled in this type of
automotive service. Make sure to
have the service facility or person
reset the display as previously
described. Keep all receipts as proof
of completion, and have the person
who does the work fill out the
maintenance record. Check your
warranty booklet for more
information.

Warning Light

That exclamation light on the dash board indicates low tire pressure. Check the air in all your tires and make sure they are all filled to proper levels and it should turn off.

When I am driving, ramdomly my warning lights start to fliker...?? What is the issue

When I'm driving, specially since it's been snowing out recently my TLC light or whatever it's called will start flashing "TCL Off" even though I had it on, is the car doing this for a specific reason? It stops blinking when I hit the off button on it but then it just stays solid and stops blinking. Anyone have an idea as to why it does this? When I bought the car it did not come with a manual so I have not been able to look it up and can't find anything about it on the internet.
