Question about 2000 Toyota Camry
If the car ran well before the battery change I'd say there is an issue with either the battery or the installation. Check the leads be ceratin the connections are clean and tight. Examine the cable too' did one get split and is now causing a poor connection. I have never heard of a new battery causing issues and being told it will get better with time.
I'd take a good look at the install or the battery itself.
