Question about 2002 GMC Yukon XL
This very simply have done it many times. the trim that goes around the whole drivers cluster, rado, and HVAC controls pulls off straight towards the rear of the vehicle, use a upohlestry tool or carfully with a screwdriver, it comes off, you may have to move the tilt steering down and shift the gear slector to low range when you remove it (makes it easier) PARKING BRAKE ON WHILE DOING THIS. This exposes the radio and there should be four 7mm hex head screws, remove those, then pull the radio straight out, undo the connectors and radio antenna.
