Thanks for responding. Today I was troubleshooting and found that when I disconnect the fuel injectors, I no longer blow fuses and my fuel pump is working again. I guess I will be removing my intake to replace injector module. Fun Fun. thanks again

You may need to drop the fuel tank and see if the sendig unit or the fuel pump is the problem.once the plugs are off the tank everything should return to normal if the problem is in the sending unit, the guage should show empty.note,do this with an empty tank.

SORRY I DID'NT GET BACK TO YOU BUT I HAD NO ACCESS TO A OPERATORS MANUAL OR A WIRE DIAGRAM.I STILL DON'T.IF YOU HAVE AN OPERATORS MANUAL,IT WILL LIST EVERYTHING THAT THE FUSE PROTECTS.YOU NEED TO UNPLUG ALL OF THESE ,PUT AN OHM METER ACROSS THE FUSE AND THEN START PLUGING EVERYTHING BACK IN.WHEN THE OHM METER CHANGES FROM ONE TO A ZERO ,YOU FOUND THE DEFECTIVE UNIT OR HARNESS,GOOD LUCK AND PLEASE REPLY.

start chasing wires. Sounds like something is shorted or worse, a hot wire may be grounded out.
Good place to start is all wires headed to the started as that is a common place for a power wire to melt against hot exhaust.
(that was the case for my 99 chevy)
Check all other fuses and make sure none are blown.

Sorry to say it could also be a faulty ECM. The ecm uses circuit boards to provide grounds to a bunch of components and can short out internally.
Most of those components can fail and cause the same problem by causing a short "thru" the ECM. Things like injectors, O2 sensors, and so on.
I doubt you will find the problem without a book and some test equipment.

Chevy Silverado 2002 2500 shows trouble code, P0230, and P0300

P0230 - Fuel Pump Primary Circuit Malfunction Symptoms - Engine Light ON (or Service Engine Soon Warning Light) Possible causes - Blown Fuel Pump fuse
- Open Fuel Pump Monitor Circuit
- Faulty Fuel Pump Relay
- Damaged ECM. P0230 Description The Engine Control Module (ECM) provides ignition positive voltage to the coil side of the fuel pump relay. When the ignition switch is first turned ON, the ECM energizes the fuel pump relay, which applies power to the fuel pump. The ECM enables the fuel pump relay as long as the engine is cranking or running, and crankshaft reference pulses are received. If no crankshaft reference pulses are received, the ECM de-energizes the fuel pump relay after 2 seconds. The ECM monitors the voltage on the fuel pump relay control circuit.
Please go to this LINK for P0300 diagnosis.

1996 chevy 3500 7.4 vortec. the ecm fuse blows at the turn of a key

One of the power wire going from your ecm to a sensor or solenoid is shorting to ground. Get a wiring diagram and an ohm meter. disconnect the battery and start checking each wire measuring from the wire to ground. as you wiggle you will see the meter show 0 ohms when it is shorted. These are the hardest and most time consuming kind of electrical problems .good luck
