Question about 2003 GMC Sierra 1500
There's a linkage rod connected to an electric solenoid that pushes or pulls the rod to lock or unlock each door.I've found that sometimes when this happens either the rod is loosened from the lock lever, the plug is loose on the solenoid or the rod is bent and only works one way ( lock or just unlock). You'll have to take off the interrior door panel, work the door lock button, you'll see if its fully pushing the lever. You can even grab the rod with your hand and lock and unlock it.If it's bent straighten it and push the lock button again. Also check the electric plug in the solenoid.

Try pressing down drivers lock manually, while pressing door lock button for all doors at same time.
