Is there an easy way to get at the heater core on my 91 chev blazer s10?

Not really. IT is under the dash on the passenger side. You should put some plastic down or pull the carpet or it will get soaked with anti freeze

You have something disconnected somewhere after the dash was removed to replace the heater matrix ,the ABS computer is the only one which will reprogramme itself without any software but somewhere a multiplug is adrift iam sure

How do i replace a heater core in my 97 blazer

Heater Core Removal & Installation To Remove:
Heater core removal gm-10-00-651.gif

  1. Remove the heater/vent module.
  2. Remove the heater core access cover screws.
  3. Remove the heater core access cover.
  4. Remove the heater core from the heater/vent module
To Install:
  1. Install the heater core to the heater/vent module.
  2. Install the heater core access cover and screws to the heater/vent module.
  3. Install the heater/vent module assembly to the vehicle.

1996 chev. blazer, heater not getting hot

You may need a thermostat and a coolant flush but one thing you can try first is disconnecting the heater hoses and run a garden hose with low pressure through the heater core both directions.These are commonly known to get plugged heater cores. If flushing the heater core out brings your heat back definitely get a coolant flush. Make sure to dispose of any antfreeze properly.

check antifreeze. if the window fogs up alot its probably the heater core. is your passenger floor wet?

How do you remove the heater core frm a '99 chev S10 Blazer ZR2?

i think the inner fender and right front wheel has to come off there are bolts from under the hood that have to come outgood luck.
