Question about 1998 Ford F150 Regular Cab
Could be a bad mass air flow sensor. with the engine off unplug the sensor then test drive with sensor unplugged.(you can do this with almost all the sensors on this vehicle). It will replace the sensor data with a default parameter. If problem persists check fuel pressure.
