Have a 1989 Fleetwood pace arrow thats been sitting for six years. Batteries are dead the owner does not know where the keys are. SO two things how to get the front jacks up with no power. Will they go up manuel. Does the motor have to be running or is it of of battery power. Second how to take the ignition out and what kind can i replace it with.
The Jacks are powered off a hydraulic power unit that runs off the engine battery. There is a way to bleed the jacks down manualy, perhaps a valve on the power unit itself, but with many different manufacturers you will have to look for sure.
The leveling jacks are hydraulic and will need battery power but the vehicle does not need to be running. Cheapest way out for the ignition switch would probably be a local locksmith. It should run maybe $60-$80 to have a new key cut without the need to remove the ignition lock.
