Question about Ford Taurus
Ford Taurus 1999SE. Windshield wiper motor quit working today. Now it just hums. I tried moving the blades and rotating the column control a few times with no results. Does motor need to be replaced or relay. What is the location of the part. Is it fairly easy to access and replace.
Thank You. RD
Removal & Installation
Always rotate the wiper operating arm in a clockwise motion or damage to the motor could occur.
Here is the picture of the motor....it is the round object in the middle of the picture that looks like a can and has a square block on the end of it.
You have to remove the cowl vent panel....just under the windshield. $64.00 for a new motor.
