Question about 2010 Chevrolet Camaro

1 Answer

I own a new Camaro 2010 SS. It is the top model in Mexico. It comes with blutooth but no hands free. The wheel has the phone button and I think that I have the speakers. What I need to buy to add hansdfree functionality? It is the most equipped model in Mexico "SS" package. I can even connect my iphone to listen music but no phone calls. The dealer has no clue.

Not 100% sure but I would imagine you need to put the car into a marry-up state, then search for Blue-tooth devices from the phone, the car should show up as something obvious, it may ask for pass code which should be 0000 so try that.. its just how do you get it into the marry-up state. Check the owners manual for that.

Hope I at least helped a little

Best regards

Lloyd

BCM location 2012 camaro ss

It is located behind the dash , I believe behind the radio. I have a 2010 and the models haven't changed that much. Through the years the bcm has always been located somewhere between the glove box and console by the radio. DO NOT DISCONNECT IT WITHOUT KNOWING WHAT YOU ARE DOING. They are flashed with codes and data that are specific to that car. If you remove it without reprogramming, your car is dead in the water and only an authorized dearler can reflash it . Doing it any other way will kill it.

1997 Camaro SS, the converible top will not lock in the up position. It gets about 2 inches away, even when you pull down you can not get the roof to latch. I went out of town for a few weeks and left the...

Yes. When left in the convertible position the top seems to shrink a little. Have someone to push the top up button while you pull down on the top and try to latch one side. Passenger side usually works for me. After that you can latch the driver side. The less you leave the top in the boot the better.

Where is the eval vent solenoid valve and how do you replace it on a 2010 canaries V6. I am getting error code p0449.

On the 2010 Chevy Camaro V6, that vent solenoid is on top of the rear cross member. You might be able to squeeze a VERY small hand in there, but the regular service procedure is to drop the cross member down. Sucks, as I just had to replace the same valve.

Replace ignition in 1999 camaro

The steering wheel does have to come off to access the ignition lock cylinder, however the ignition switch is mounted to the column and does not require the wheel to be removed. A locksmith would have rekeyed the lock cylinder. The high beam switch is mounted of the left side of the column and is actuated by a 6 inch long rod. This does not require the wheel to come off.
