Question about 2010 Chevrolet Camaro

2 Answers

The tire pressure monitor was working ok. After i pumped air in the tires I decided to reset it. Now the yellow light of tire presure is on and I have an alarm that the tire system need to to be check. When I ask the car to recheck it makes the claxon (honk once) and the I have to wait. I am sure it is a software problem. Any idea how to reset it.

    This may take many days.

Can I just reset the system. It was measuring OK until I decided to recheck the pressure.

The same happens with the usb devices in the radio. I unplug the device and wait for 1 day and it works back ok again.

Dealers in Mexico have no clue on this model and really take very long.

If you have a way to reset the computer may be better.

Otherwise I will have to go to the dealer and make a line, but its going to take a while; I can assure.

Most of the ime after recalibrating,or reseting or changing the ar pressure, the system will calibrat itself after a while give it about 20 miles or so to see if it will reset,if it does not a garage can make it reset with a system monitor.

That signal is from your tire monitoring sensors, telling you that there is air pressure difference between tires. The tire pressure should be same in all tires.

How do i reset my tire presure light

It should go off on its own when the tire that is low on pressure is refilled. You will need a gauge to verify the tire pressure. If the light does not go out after refilling all the tires, including the spare, you may have a defective tire monitoring module in one of the wheels that is defective.

Horseshoe type yellow warning light on BMW 3series suv..2008 model

As with Most Vehicles this is an Indication of 1 or more tires needing attended to. Generally speaking it is warning of a Low Tire Pressure.
Check (or have Checked) all the Tires for the specified Tire pressure and inflate to "Recommended" PSI as found on the Tires, (raised type lettering on Tire) closest to Rim/ Wheel.

If it is Low Pressure, with Economics as they are, have tires inflated to Maximum load can increase gas mileage

What does the yellow tire light mean on the instrument panel?

it means your tire pressure is below recomended pressure parramiters.
This system also moiters the spare!! so check it too!

Unless you had someone change the tires on the vehicle... and they broke off the tire pressure monitor... ( cost about $90 each!)

2004 Ford Explorer - dash light that looks like an upsidedown kettle with an explanation mark in the center...?

Yeah Its a tire pressure monitor. When the temperature decreases, the tire pressure light comes on if they are just a little bit low. I filled mine up to the proper PSI and it stopped the issue.

Can't figure out dashboard light

its a low tire warning light, part of your tire presure warning monitor system, its telling you one of your tires is low, check all your tires, you may have a nail in one, that info should be in your owners manual

Yellow light on dashboard came on...

The tire pressure is low on one or more of the tires. Check the tire pressure and put air in and everything will work great
