The radiator fan "relay switch" may be faulty.
Replace the little black box in the fusebox under hood.
Labeled "Radiator Fan"

Radiator fan relay, i had the same problem on my 2000 G.C. For me the relay was located on fenderwall between headlight and battery. I picked up 2 relays at local auto scrap yard for $5 and it. Replaced it and worked like a charm.

How long for the ac fan to start working? Ive noticed that the fan does not work when i turn the ac on, can this cause my car to overheat. I check the temp and coolant liquid both seems fine.

the ac fan starts as soon as the ac is switched on
the fan is provide cooling of the condenser before the radiator to prevent high head pressures in the ac compressor
it is the fan at the front of the car mand does not affect engine temp
there is a radiator fan between the engine and the radiator that will not start until the coolant temperature reaches a set temp at which point the ECM switches that fan on
if that fan is not working when the engine is hot , check for fan, coolant temperature sensor switch , fan relay, fuses or problem ECM

Volvo radiator fan

It should be pulling air into the engine bay. If the fan still doesn't work after being replaced ; check (temp sensor) and fan relay.

The electric fan that cools my radiator is not running.

The radiator fan should come on when car reaches normal operating temp,With engine at Idle and temp normal feel the top radiator Hose ,it should be hot,If no then Engine coolant is not moving-cause could be an "Air lock" if that is the case,turn key off until it cools then disconnect top Hose and start engine,at normal temp,you should have Engine Coolant coming out,turn key off let engine cool;reconnect and refill with a 50/50 mix;

Back to the Fan problem;the Fan should come on when engine temp is normal,if not turn the Air-Conditioner on,radiator Fan should come on at any temp;two checks ,one is the Fan Relay ,located in the under Hood main power supply box;There will be 3 or 4 relays for different systems since they are of the same part number swap and see if problem is fixed;if no check the Fuse in same power supply box;You said fans spin so they are not locked up;Take an eight dollar D.C. circuit tester,they look like an ice pick with a clamp for ground attach,to ground and with the fan plug disconnected see if you have voltage; ,You can have a continuous fan by finding a wire close to the fan that has power when the key is in the on position,take a wire and attach to that wire;

My fan in my radiater suddenly quit working. What could that be?

If you have access to a power light verify that the fan is getting power when engine reaches proper running temp. If so then the fan needs replaced. If no power then locate fan relay and verify power to relay if so then relay is bad. If no power then locate temp sending unit. and check.

Cooling fans on 04 aztec not working

Their is a sensor screwed into the radiator which sends a signal to the fan relay when the radiator gets hot and activates the fan. If you changed the relay then this is most likely the problem. But it may be the fan. To check remove the plug from the fan and when radiator get's hot check if power is comming through the wire's.

Engine revs high after driving a while in the morning

Sounds like the theromstatic is sticking, making the temp to run higher than normal. The temp should be around 185 to 190 tops. Also check the flues on the radiator, make sure it is recirculation well once the theroms. open up. I not sur if this has a clutch fan or and But make sure it is pulling air thru the radiator well, to help to keep the motor cool.
