Why my 1994 acura legend temperature gauge goes strait to hot when I crank up my car

temperature gauges go straight to hot when the wire to the sender unit is shorting out. Check the fuse for the sun roof as it may be a coincidence.as the 2 are not connected.

Clock backlight, heating panel light and door light not working

Hello,

So--there is no back-light on the heat panel and roof mounted display?
Similarly to a gauge cluster--there are bulbs that produce the back-light. I have a 90's vehicle and I had to replace the bulbs in the heat panel and on the gauge cluster. On some vehicles however you have to take the whole car apart just to access these bulbs. So--just take your time, consult a book, and check the bulbs to see if this is the culprit.

Hope this helps.

Hi i have a volkswagon golf which the abs sensor light is on and another yellow light is on in the dash and sometimes it beeps and the red handbrake light will flash. also my speed clock doesnt work at any...

firstly you need a new sensor or drive on the gearbox ,its located above the passenger side drive shaft where the diff is ,change this first so it works then see if the ABS light goes out ,temperature gauge could just be a faulty sender unit on the engine .If the ABs light still doesnt go when speedo is repaired then check the sensors with a automotive meter and also check the toothed gear ring on each wheel as they do sometimes crack and come loose on the drive shaft .This fault will also throw the brake warning lights on for this vehcle

Which is the fuse number for electric windows and sunroof??

The power roof is Fuse #30. The power windows are probably controlled by a fuse located in the small fuse panel located on top of the battery. The car's electrical system is controlled by a 110 amp fuse and circuit breaker.

The clock/temp gauge has suddenly quit working on 2001 camry

This is a very common problem with many of the mid 90 - 2000 era import vehicles. The clock modules are very prone to internal failure. I offer a reasonable repair service with a lifetime guarantee, check it out: www.autoclockrepair.com
There is a bunch of useful info there. Drop me an email if you have questions, thanks!

temperature switch its on the engine follow your top big rad hose to the engine and the switch should be beside the rad hose or thermostat housing. Its around 15 dollars for a new one but first make sure the switch is plugged in.
