Can a car owner replace an 04 toyota corola serpentine belt

Hello, yes, it dpends on if the owner has the tools and the ability to do so. The belt has an automatic tensioner that has to be depressed to loosen the belt so it can be removed, the belt goes around a few pulleys so it's a good idea to draw a diagram of the belt routing before removing it. Good luck.

My heater fan motor started to squeel. How hard is it to replace, Can I do it myself I am mechanicly inclined.

The fan motor is located just below the hood hinge on the passenger side in the engine compartment. You can see the round can of the motor sticking out of the air ducting. It does not look too difficult to replace. I have replaced one on my 1988 toyota corola but it was hidden behind the glove box inside the car. I have an 2002 S10 now and it looks like a piece of cake.

I want to know whether the corola 96 has two models or not because now i bought one corola 96 and some says it made in 97. on the other hand when I check car belt it is 96 and when I check on the car door...

Toyota did not make 'two' models of Corolla.

The production date determine what year the car is, With a build date of X / 97, that makes your car a 1997 model. On some of the Corollas, however, mid-year production changes dictate that you supply the build date to obtain certain parts, as they may have been updated during the production run.
