Which sign can show the danger of engine block damage

The airbag and the alternator may have been caused by a drive belt failing on the engine, this would cause an overheat, I hope you did not drive it very far as this engine can be ruined by excessive overheating. Look under the hood and see if the drive belt is on the engine.

if you got to any site or book seller there is huge volumes of information on this topic. complex and many tests are very dangerous.

take it to any ASE shop. let time find it.
in pro shops we have 6 channel electronic ear system
so we can conduct tests , to find the source
vibration can come from::
all of drive train, end to end, engine to tires.
even engine misfire, is vibration
or a bulge in a tire side wall,(danger to the extreme) or lug nuts loose. (i can list 100s more, some even more dangerous.)

Is it true that when the temp gauge keep going up dangerous drive the car

Yes it is true that to drive the car with the temp gauge in the red can be dangerous. The motor will seize causing uncontrollable slide /skid at the worst possible time. It is also a total waste of money as you will be up for replacement motor . Have the problem checked out if it is not already too late.

Hyundai Elantra 2008 "ecs off" light is on, is this dangerous? Can we fix it ourselves?

It's not something you can fix yourself - it typically requires special tools and a very specific checklist of things to check in a special order.
Driving with the ECS is no more dangerous than driving in a car made before 2005. It simply means that it cannot automatically correct things like driving to fast into a corner or slipping on ice. If you stay out of the "pushing the limit" type driving and treat the car as if it didn't have any kind of electronic nanny controls, you should be fine.

2006 (56) Audi A3: battery light stays on in the dash - what could it be is it dangerous to drive?

it is not dangerous to drive but the reason why the battery light is on is because the charging system is not working right. the battery could be faulty or the alternator is bad.

1996 jeep cherokee engine dies when pressing on the brakes, checked vaccum lines and cant see a problem.

Try plugging the vacuum hose from the booster to the manifold AT THE MANIFOLD.
DANGER, DANGER, DANGER, Be aware NOT to drive at speed because you will NOT have power assisted brakes but they WILL work to a reduced capacity.Drive VERY slowly on level surface.

This will eliminate air leaks at booster and manifold hose.
Another test is to get someone to hold foot hard on brake pedal with engine running and you listen under bonnet for air leak.

Air bag light is on and cruise control, lighter and horn don't work. There is a mechanism I'm sure in the steering wheel that needs to be changed. Is it dangerous to drive until I get it...

hi
im dave
if the air bag light is on that means the system is disabled. If you dont mind driving without an airbag than i would say it is no more dangerous than driving a pre air bag vehicle and those inherent dangers. Remember howevere that an air bag is a secondary resttraint system and should always be used in conjunction with the primary restraint system...your seatbelts.
