Question about 2004 Chevrolet Monte Carlo
Had colant flushed and heater core is good. blower and air conditioning works great
Are you sure the core is good? Most repair places when they flush your coolant they dont flush the core. you may need to flush that yourself. It is easy to do. simply disconnect the two water hoses coming from the firewall and spray a garden hose into both of them 1 at a time until you get nothing but clean water in return. Its common for them to clog up over the summer from lack of use. the junk in your coolant will collect at the core because there is minimal flow due to the heater not being turned on
