Question about 1994 Isuzu Trooper
Problem could be speedo transducer on right rear side of gear box or transfer case depending on gear box
check wiring to this then remove and check both gear on transducer and gear in gear box/transfer case for wear
if they seem all right possibly transducer itself
these are the comon things

Your transmission has a speed sensor on it ,should be external and visible looking under the vehicle ,also has shift control ,may be all in one,device ,or two seperate ,depending on the transmission,locate id plate on transmission,or part no.on sensor/sensors need exact replacement ,for proper performance,there are a lot of differences from year to year ,and other models ,verify correct replacement part before purchase
