How to Program Keyless Entry Remotes in a Hyundai Sonata By Christian Killian, eHow Contributor

Hi, I have a 2005 Sonata. I lock the doors with the remote, but after about 5 minutes they all unlock again by themselves, the doors can be opened and the alarm will sound until i use the remote to turn...

Hyundai sonata 2002 remote

There is a special (proprietary) programming electronics 'black box' for the keyless entry system on all Hyundai vehicles for programming the remotes. This programming is stored in either the BCM (body control module) or the ETACS module (Electronic Time and Control System).

2005 Hyundai Sonota 2.4GL no sound when alarm triggerred.

Mine acts the same way. I found that it doesn't alarm unless you trigger the alarm. Be sure to check that the alarm fires correctly as mine didn't and they covered this under warranty.
