Have another look at the fuse-box. You must have disturbed something, probably in that area.
When you press the switch to open the window, a feed goes to the motor, and also to a timer, which holds the feed to the motor long enough for the window to open fully.
The timer will probably be located somewhere near the fuse box, looks like a small box, similar to a relay, about 30mm x 30mm. Make sure its plugged in fully

Aston martin problems

Window going down is automatic when opening/closing doors. Try the electric plugs under driver's seat. It could be loose or the wire assembly to the door motor. Mine comes loose all the time since the car is old

Electric window wont stay up

It sounds like you may have a bad switch. It could possibly be removed, cleaned and reassembled/ reinstalled and work fine, otherwise it will have to be replaced.

What is the best way to change the rear windsheild motor

first things first check the fuse box make sure you do not have a blowen fuse.
To access the wiper motor the liftgate door trim panel must be removed. To accomplish this remove the two screws under the lift handle and then with a panel removal tool, unsnap the trim and lift it up and out of the way. Prior to removing the motor, the pivot arm must be removed. This is accomplished by lifting the cover on the arm and removing the 14 mm nut and pulling the arm off.

I found than closing the liftgate and opening the rear window made it very easy to access the motor.

To remove the motor, first move the black plastic water shield out of the way to access the wiper motor, then take out the three 8 mm attaching bolts and disconnect the electrical connector.

The motor has a "made in Mexico" sticker on it ( both the new as well as the original ).

Installation is simply the reverse of the above procedure.

The total time for this project was about 30 minutes, with the removal/replacement of the liftgate trim panel was the most difficult part; those snap connectors are tougher than they look.

hope this helps please rate my help and good luck

Sometimes electric windows work and sometimes they dont

Depending on how good you are with repairing cars there is a solution that could possibly work you have to remove the switch case with the switches by placing a thin screwdriver in front of the case and pushing the spring loaded clip back at the same time lifting the case slightly upwards once removed remove the connectors by pressing the release clip in the centre of the connector now get hold of some contact cleaner and try to spray underneath the switch you press, cleaning the connection inside switch normally solves the problem.

1994 town car rear windows will not open or close

Try checking the fuses and circuit breakers for the power windows first, if there good then it could be the the rear window lockout switch, check for continuity in the unlocked position. If it does'nt have continuity replce the switch.
