My lincoln navigator shakes when i am completely stoped.....when im driving and i hit bumps i can hear like if air is being released from the front and the navi wont lift from the front sometimes.....and also when im turning it on it stutters for a while then it turns on.....can someone please help me.......

Correct. Replace them all at the same time as you will need to track steering after replacing ball joints. Check rubber anti roll bushings when your at it,

If you can absolutely verify that there are no loose components in the front end I would start looking at the tire for belt separation. This can be detected by rubbing your hand gently over the tread area. Feel for bumps,bulges, and irregularities. It should be fairly obvious.

You can also try putting the tire on a different location and see if the symptom moves to the new location.

sounds like the leveling switch is pooched or the compressor is pooched check both start with fuses

coil type dont often brake but give a harder ride than air types do, an air strut is like a bike pump its full of air under presher every time you hit a bump it squashes this air to ride out the bump, if the seals blow out the air strut is finished,,, its the same thing with oil shockers

1. You might wanna take a look at your brake system, brake disk and pads.

2. The steering rack must have gone bad though it might just be the packing rubbers that are worn; or

3. The tie-rods must have been loose.

is it doing this while driving or while parked?

SOunds like a broken shock, or bad strut. Air bags or not, struts and shocks are what control bounce.

can you hear the pump come on when the vehicle starts? Check the rear height sensor at the rear axle it might have come off

crude in the catlic convertor will cause this problem when hitting the bump in the road u are jarring it loose should have exhaust system check out
