My interior light won't come on in my 1999 Buick Lesabre. I have checked the bulb & the fuse. Can anyone help me with this problem? Any ideas are sincerely appreciated.

Courtesy Lights
The courtesy lights come on under the following conditions:
?€¢
Any door is opened.

?€¢
The interior lamp switch is in the ON position.

?€¢
The keyless entry transmitter unlocks the doors (illuminated entry).

When the key is removed from the ignition switch with all of the doors closed, the courtesy lights light for approximately 25 seconds before fading out.
Battery positive voltage (B+) is applied at all times through the IP fuse block CTSY LP/PWR MIR fuse 6A via CKT 640 (ORN) through the body control module (MALL) to the courtesy lights via CKT 1732 (ORN). The MALL provides a ground through CKT 156 (WHT) for the courtesy lights under the following conditions:
?€¢
The MALL receives an input from a door being opened.

?€¢
The MALL receives an input from the interior lamp being turned ON.

?€¢
The MALL receives an input from the doors being unlocked using the keyless entry transmitter.

The courtesy lamps then light.
When the courtesy lights are activated by opening and closing a door, the courtesy lights will remain on for approximately 25 seconds before fading out after all of the doors are closed. If the ignition switch is turned to START or RUN within the 25 seconds, the lights immediately begin to fade out. If a door is left open, the MALL removes battery positive voltage (B+) to the courtesy lights after 10 minutes. When the courtesy lights are activated by the interior lamp switch, the lights remain on as long as the interior lamp switch is in the ON position. When the courtesy lights are activated by unlocking the doors using the keyless entry transmitter, the lights remain on for approximately 40 seconds. If the doors are locked using the keyless entry transmitter within the 40 seconds, the lights immediately begin to fade out.
Body Control Module (MALL) Diagnostic Mode
For a detailed explanation of the MALL module diagnostic mode, refer to Body Control Module Cell 51.

No tail lights only brak and blinker

Should be under warranty...also Dealer should definitely provide courtesy loaner...contact the regional rep as necessary...could be serious future electrical problems...In rare cases, the wrong bulbs could be installed...one way tips...instead of dual (twin bulb tips) I have seen this before...replace both bulbs with the correct ones...Hope this helps.

Battery on 06 silverado runs dead over a few days of not being used.

More than likely a parasitic drain.
Many times in courtesy system--Check after dark for any system lights burning, especially lighted mirrors if present.
If not found, drain test required.

Any time you get ANY Check Light on your dash, you need

The battery drains when the car is not used for a few days. Once I completely re-charge it, it starts fine for days, until I let it sit unused for a few days

Have the battery checked by a professional and replace it if needed.
If the battery is good, you may have a leakage issue.
This means that something in the vehicle is staying turned on after you have removed the ignition key and locked the vehicle. This is normally a courtesy lamp and maybe the glove box lamp or trunk lamp etc. Try removing the bulbs from these lamps.
Use a test probe (available from most auto parts stores) and check for leakage current. Do this by removing the battery negative lead from the battery, then connect the test probe between the battery post and the battery lead, it does not matter which way around you connect them as long as the test probe is connected between the lead and battery post. Next, close all doors and trunk and remove the ignition key. Now if the probe lights up and stays lit up after about 5 seconds, you have a leakage. in this case, you need to remove bulbs etc from all the different courtesy lights until the test probe goes out! Then you can check the switch for that light and trace the fault.
Don't forget the refit the battery cable when you have finished.

Bulbs are never covered under warranty because they are a wear item (like tires). The factory might do a courtesy repair if the car was near new.
Order the bulbs online and install them yourself. I believe the bulb is D2s, you can find them online for $30-$60.

Rear interior light and door courtesy lights not working- Jaguar

take off the cover and replace them. if you have a volt/ohm meter you can put if on the car side and make sure you have voltage and the ohm meter on the buldb should give a 1 rating if its good. it would be the cheapest and easiest to just get a new bulb and see if it works then start checking fuses if its not the bulb.
