Could be bad e-brake light sensor or ebrake is not fully disengaged.

Check brake light switch up above brake pedal, it may be loose, out of position, or faulty.

Also a bad relay would cause it, but most likely bad or loose brake switch above brake pedal

1999 Chevy silver-ado 1500. 85,000. when hitting bumps the parking brake light comes on but turn back off when it becomes smooth again brake fluid is full and cable is all the way up.

possibly a loose or bad parking brake sensor which should be located near the top of the parking brake arm, may require removing the lower panel of the dash cover to see it clearly.

I have a 2000 chevy silverado Z71. The drl quit

There is a light sensor that tells the truck if it is night or day on the dash. Make sure that is it not covered up. If is is not then you may have a bad sensor. It sounds like the sensor is telling the truck that it is night every time the truck is running.

Start the tuck with the park brake on to see if the light come on when it starts. If they do you have a bad relay if not it is most likely that sensor on the dash.
