There is a small fusewire on the rear of the lighter socket itself. This often blows if you have used a compressor from the socket

It could be a fuse but that fuse is usually your doom light to.the wire may have become loose,or the lighter itself is shot.

Hi
have you tried both the one in the ashtray and the other side of the console and they both will blow the fuse
if so what ever you are plugging in is shorted
try a known good cigarette lighter or something that works in another vehicle

Cigarette lighter

First check the fuse... then try using a test light to check for power in the socket. If there is power replace the lighter coil... if not look for a loose wire behind the socket... Hope this helps...;-)

Cigarette lighter on 2001 isuzu rodeo is not working. Non of the lighter sockets work. How can I fix this?

hi , i would start by checking the fuse box for blown fuses. if that isn't the problem, than it is defiantly a wiring issue.
