According to my '99 owner's manual & http://www.ngksparkplugs.com:

2.4L L4 engine= Gap: 0.050" (1.27mm)
3.4L V6 engine = Gap: 0.060" (1.52mm)

Edit:
For 2.4L L4 engine

My owners manual lists AC Type 41-942 (Platinum Plug) Gap: 0.050" (1.27mm).
But http://www.acdelco.com says AC Delco part # 41-942 spark plug, platinum plug is GAP .060" without RPO (RC9).

1999 pontiac grand am gt 6 cylinder 3400 to replace spark plugs what is the gap setting supposed to be

This 1999 grand am uses platinum sparkplugs and should not be regaped, the plugs are to be installed as them come, just take a look at the gap to make sure no one dropped them and closed the gap completly but otherwise install them as they come good day.

Spark Plug Gap 89 Toyota Camry

I believe that the gap you need is .035 . My personal vehicle is an '88, and i set my plug gap at .035. This has worked fine for 10 years. Also, the plugs that work the best are nippondenso u-groove. My mileage and power seem to be the best with these plugs. (this is for the 2.4 litre 4 cylinder, but i believe the gap also works for the v-6.)

Need to know the spark plug gap on a 1995 ford ranger 4 cylinder?

Hi!1
The spark plug gap is 044 (In thousandths of an inch) Caution! Gap is not adjustable on certain plug brands. The 4 cyl. 2.3 L engine uses 2 spark plugs per cylinder.
A HELPFUL - 4 THUMBS - rating for this solution would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for using FixYa.

Cylinder 3 misfire

Make sure you're using the recommended spark plugs. When my car did that, I had put Bosch Platinum Plus-4 plugs in and got that same problem. Turns out the plugs are too hot and cause it to fire prematurely and kick the misfire code.
