Need to know how to get to heat resistor in 2000 dodge caravan

the blower motor resistor should be right behind the glove box. Remove the glove box, unplug the connector(s) and remove the two screws (9/32" socket usually works).

How do i loosen the altinator belt on a 2000 dodge interpid

There is a "T bolt" on the alternator that you need to loosen. Look for this to be one of the two bolts that hold the alternator in place.
