Fuses? ALL the rear lights? which lights exactly? tag lights? reverse lights? turn signals? brake lights? I dont know how anything could "become" disconnected, they have locks on them to prevent that.

what you have is a bugga-boo-something is shorting out or corroded-so what this does is to confuse the main cpu that controls the lights-check the light sockets for corrosion-check your wire harness for wires that are rubbed bare or broken- pinched-start with the lighting wires -unfortunately this problem that is confusing the cpu could be any where in the wiring harness-cheers Denny

2004 dodge ram, factory tow package. new trailer harness and lights, brake and turn signal work, no running lights. checked all fuses, they look ok. haven't tested w/ another vehicle yet to see if it is...

take a test light and check for power at the pins, also try cleaning the pins on the conector. if you plug it in and the running lights still work on your truck its probably a broken wire.

My right rear turn signal stays solid, won't blink, in the vehicle the right blinker light blinks excessively fast, I have a 1999 surburban

Sounds like a bad ground to me, although i am no expert.
i would be checkinh all connections and take it from there, a little wd40 might just solve it short term.

My 94 f250 rear running lights don't work but the

Check the connecter fom the truck harness to the rear light harness for a corroded off wire. You will find it about two feet back of the bumper tucked in the frame rail and the easiest way to fix it is to jump around the bad wire useing a short piece of 16 guage wire and a couple of **** connecters[blue].

Look for a loose connection in the rear wiring harness which may be accessed by removing the panel in the left rear of the car (inside)

Need to hook up wiring harness for boat trailer. conector has been cut from ford explorer 94 4x4. dont know which wires need to be wired together.

the best way is with the use of a test light and find a good ground for one end and use the other to find your signals with the key on so to ensure power to the wires themselves and then with a 2 x 4 ahainst the seat propped the brake or assistance if available and find them as well also backup lights with the tire chucked so it dont roll on you find these as well by connecting via the diagram that the new harness came with or if none is available connect them until they are correctly working order then secure them should have a quick disconnect coupler with it so you may remove it for future use

Parking and tail light short

OK ... being as you've ripped the entire interior out things might be easier to disconnect now .... I suspect the dash light dimmer assembly (I don't remember but this vehicle may even have a dimmer fuse??? check the owners manual ...) which goes to many lights and if damaged shows a dead short (has the radio ever been changed?) I would first disconnect the dimmer assembly (cluster lamps) (that will eliminate that circuit) replace the fuse and try turning the parking lamps on ... if the fuse blows again ... it's not the dimmer cicuit ... then ... You will measure a short when checking continuity between negative battery terminal and the light circuit as the filaments in the lamps will read continuity but it should show some resistance and not a dead short under normal conditions. I would then disconnect the harnesses going to the rear of the car located in the left kick panel and or the right kick panel .... the way you will solve it is to work one section at a time ... and a bunch of fuses ... trial and error then focus on the suspect section ... the thing that gets me is: you say the short goes away (on the meter) when the brakes are applied or left turn signal. So it might be in the rear harness ... I would also inspect the left rear light assembly and the harness to it (possibly a bad ground) good luck and let me know what you find

I need a 2005 Chrysler 300 wiring diagram

You don't need to touch your harness for the fog lights as its a major harness and is connected to many other things. You need to pop out the light switch opn the dash. it pops out and in the back of it you disconnect it. It has a conector on it. Buy a new switch at dealer, aprox $90 canadian and snap it back on. I know my fog light switch went last year. I have same the same car.
