Question about 1992 Honda Accord
I have a 1992 honda accord. when you shut it off and trt to restart it the check engine light comes on and the d4 on the tranny selector flashes. after sitting about a half hour it will start up .
This is a typical Honda problem. unfourtunatly their design on the transmissions are not the best. Most of the times when you have a flashing light on the shifter on a honda it is the beginning of an internal transmission problem, not a major one but most likley one of the solonoids in it. just for future reference to you make sure to keep your trans fluid changed on the recommend mileage because they do have an internal filter that is extremley common for plugging up and giving a no shift condition. Hope this helps. swiftautorepairs.com
