Question about 2003 Chevrolet Suburban 1500

My 2003 Z71 Suburban's rear springs are getting worn out. Is there anywhere I can go to get new springs other than the dealer? Would the front springs from an Express 2500 fit?

There are spring companies that have heavier springs, google chevy truck springs and see what comes up. I dont know about the 2500 springs, maybe??

My rear AC gets cold on my 2003 Suburban but the front is not

You have 4 relays that control the doors on your front vents. Open the glove box and depress the side to expos? the area behind it. There are 4 square damper controls there place the front A/C to vent and tap on them sometimes they get stuck mid cycle. If you believe they are bad, go to the junk yard and pull replacements. These tend to be expensive at the dealer. If this works you know where the problem lies and you can then buy new ones at the dealer. Good luck hope this helps.

I own a 2004 Chevy Suburban 1500 Z71. It has 131,000 miles. Just had oil change done at Jiffy Lube.Tech said the front and rear differentials needed repair. Did not bite. I now have heard iintermittent...

check for when the noises occur. check if the noise is when you are going over bumps, rough patches,on acceleration, deceleration, high speed ,slow speed. Check for loose items in the boot /spare wheel well ( jack, spanners etc)
The mechanic should have been specific in showing you the diff problems and I would now ask what diff oil was used in the oil change because if you have limited slip diffs thee is a special oil used.
from your initial description of the noise I am thinking shocky rubbers or suspension rubbers worn or loose.

2003 Range Rover air suspension. Help please!!

If the bag hasnt completely failed (punctured or worn to leaking) they can come "unseated" from the base at the bottom of the "bellow" or bag. Not very common but possible. Alternatives to dealer parts and installation checkout ARNOTT air springs. The bag alone runs about $100. If you can afford it replace both fronts with the ARNOTT new generation one piece airspring. The are easy to install and offer little or no headache. Lastly, if you are a fan of the unsurpassed comfort of your Range Rover air-ride suspension, dont let anyone talk you into the coil spring conversion. Its not the same level of comfort and you will feel a big difference in handling. Good luck!

My rear brake pads and rotors have worn out in 1 year and the front brake pads are the original and don't look worn at all. My sub has 150K miles

Its possible. There is an equalizer valve that balances pressure to the 4 wheels.
Two other possible causes are a problem with the parking brake, or the front rotors and pads are glazed and not providing any friction.

2003 chevy suburban z71 shows car with padlock just changed fuel pump wont start

If you disconnected the battery to change the fuel pump and did not disable the anti-theft feature first, you now know why it wont start. Check the owners manual if you have it, or contact a GM dealer to get the system reset.

I own a 2003 Chevy Suburban (Z71). The rear air-conditioning/heating does not work at all. I cannot get the blower to work, from either the front controls or the aux. I have checked all of the fuses, both...

If the fuses are good, check for power at the blower motor, or rap on it and see if it starts running. if it runs, it most likely is close to being worn out, replace it.

Cool but not cold air from my ac system

It sounds simple enough that you need to recharge your A/C unit. They can stop functioning properly after winter's end especially if they were not used. You should be able to get a recharge kit from your local auto parts store. Your Suburban should use the newer R142a refrigerant.

Parking brake pedal goes to floor

The parking brake cables may be stretched and in need of adjustment. Follow the cables along to a nut. Then you can tighten the adjusters up on both sides until you have the proper tension. Also make certain none of the brackets are bent or broken that the cables ride through.
