Question about 2003 Toyota Camry

2003 Camry drivers power seat stuck all the way upfront!

I see I'm not the only one with this problem. I took it to my dealer who told me it would be $100 to take out seat and repair could be over $1000. I'm sick about this. Help! The seat moves in other directions. I'n really not sure where the motor itself is or what to do.

Driver seat stuck all the way back, manual adjustment - 2009 Camry

I just had the same problem with a Toyota Corolla 2009. The seat was stuck all the way back, I could move just 1 setting "click" front and back. This happened after I picked up the car at the car wash.

I took the front seat + tracks completely out (4 14mm screws) to discover it was a QUARTER stuck in the track, near the seat belt buckle mount. That was preventing the seat to move.

Hope it helps you or anyone else having the same problem!

2002 camry Driver's side power seat all the way forward and won't move backwards. Other power seat functions working fine. Tried moving it with engine off and engine on. Is there a manual release?

I found this post area while looking for a way to fix my stuck 2001 Camry LE drivers seat. Sure enough, while engaging the seat motor (it could be heard making an initial clikc), I hit the front rails a coupel time prettysolidly with a rubber mallet. That fixed it!

Thanks to all for providing a quick fand easy way to get the seat moving again!

Buick Lesabre Heated Seats not working

The problem is most likely caused by shorted heating grids in the seat cushion itself, kind of like the heating element in an electric blanket, very expensive to replace.

Power seat

It sounds like the motor may have jammed. I would remove the seat (only held on by 4 bolts) and loosen the motor and then see if it will move.
