Question about 1999 Chevrolet Silverado 1500
The cigarette lighter fuse.Use a "test light".. now turn the ign key on, now put the point of the test light at the ends of the fuse, (2 small openings on the end of the fuse) you should have power on both sides, if only one side has power, but not the other side, that fuse is bad. now if neither side has power, the fuse isnt getting power, and it may be for a component thats not on at this time, dont worry about those now. you really should not let these parts guys read codes and recommend parts, the love to sell you oxygen sensors, and when that doesnt fix it, they sell you more uneeded parts.
