Question about 2001 Hyundai Sonata
Undo the axle nut and take off the tie rod.you may need to take the strut bolts out and undo the lower balljoint.this is of course after you have removed the caliber and pads and set them aside.usually one hit with a hammer will get the axel started out of the bearing,once it's out of the hub assembly then just pull it out of the transmission.you will lose some oil so use a pan.
