Probably needs a new 'resistor pack' (it alters the fan speeds)

Location blower motor relay 95 jeep grand cherokee laredo

easter egg hunts 101. what are the symptoms.?
did you check all fuses first/ that be , first
does it blow on high?
the book covering this (FSM) is free to read.
we dont need to cut and paste it , every time asked.
here it is.
it's in the PDC
read chapter 24 yet, HVAC
then 8w (wiring) 8w42
it's all there. and not fake books, it's real the real deal from jeep.
first off the GC has 2 type HVAC sold day 1
manual system
and automatic, ATC
they are totally different. so no one can answer you, lacking that fact.
lets now look at both (extra work)
the manual system has no relay, in the PDC, there is on inside the heater control but is not user serviceable.
does the blow work on HIGH>?????????
the ATC has a large relay. but is not in the PDC, its on the side of the HVAC per below drawings

chapter 24 cover this, why not read it first?

http://www.morris4x4center.com/knowledge-base/index.htm?utm_source=cj#service

page 8w -42-9 (ATC version only) 1 part of a complex system.
26147818-kvl5e4kdfcykuopgofwmpgkg-5-0.jpg
with the free book
a $10 volt meter all this is easy to diagnose.

the manual system the blower is hot. (fused F11 pdc)
the manual system the dash control, grounds the fan
on HIGH. if not on high does so through a RESISTOR block
that R is a relay but is part of the control. (buried)
so if you ground that wire below, called c7
the fan must blow, or fuse F11 is blown.
easy no? if the relay R , right coil is not 12v then that needs to be corrected, if fan blows hotwired, and R is not 0v out.

1997 Cherokee fuses under hood

No diagrams? I'm working on a '95 cherokee, the cover on the box has a complete diagram on the underside. On the '95, there are 10 maxi-fuses, and 6 mini-fuses. What is the number designation of the fuse? Likely the numbers may not agree with mine, but I could try to help. By the way, if you have your owner's manual, it would show all fuse and relay descriptions and locations, both the under hood box and the under dash fuse block.

I have a 95 jeep cherokee and the heater/blower/AC fan only works in the fastest position. Any idea what is causing this?

Blower motor resistor.
Look under the passenger side dash, you will see a cover that needs to be removed, 1 screw(LH side of the cover and a clip at the back hold it in place). Once off you will see a bunch of wires and a connector. This connector plugs into the resistor. There is also an actuator that you will need to remove. The bolts are tricky to get at. Remove the bolts and actuator pipe and you can get at the resistor bolts which will allow you to pull the resistor from the housing.

My 95 jeep cherokee heater switch on ly works on high

I would try to replace the blower motor resistor first,If that doesnt repair your problem you may wanna try replacing the blower speed switch. The resistor is located under the passenger side of the dash mounted in the heater box.

A/C is not blowing cold air and clutch on the compressor will not engage.

Most likley needs to be recharged. Shouldnt be low, but if it has ever been in an accident it may have a leak or your mechanic stole the refridgerant when it was cold outside and you didnt notice untill you turned the ac on.
