Check O2 sensor, good idea to replace it every 75k...if the sensor is faulty, you will get the lean code. the car will run fine without any problems, your gas mileage may be a bit affected.

Codes too lean, stalls when warm. replaced o2,MAF,filter, plugs and coils

Check for air leaks with a water spray from an old spray bottle. Run the engine and spray around gasket seams and Vacuum lines.

Lean code means too much air, not too little fuel. Engine is dumping fuel to get correct fuel ratio.

2001 volvo v70 error code p1604 Cannot drive over 25mph. When the code is cleared runs fine for 20-40 miles then reverts to problem. I found a code match for internal throttle signal but not sure what...

if you look that up on a normal OBD code its listed as P1604 Code Word Unregestered However for a volvo thats a code for Control Module Self Test, Speed Monitoring which would indicate the ECM or a wiring problem ( usually just a loose connection,, so check the connections on the ECM, which you can have scanned by the dealer, Volvo codes vary from the normal coding on most cars, so be careful when getting codes and their meanings

My 2001 toy, corolla showed a code of po171 so i changed the oxygen sensor then showed po300 , the car hesitate on excelleration but if you back up a little on the throttle it runs fine like the cat is...

P0171 is a lean code. Most common cause for this is a vacuum leak. The cat would throw a P0420 code. Don't mess with the cat. The P0300 code is a random misfire code. Look for a vacuum leak first.

First off, go to AutoZone and get the code scanned. They'll do it free, and will give you the fault code. Post that up and we can take it from there.

Just to ponder - have you checked the mass airflow sensor? If it's giving erroneous reasons it can cause you to fuel the engine incorrectly.
