Check your manual, its your Tire Pressure Monitoring System, the (!) means your tire pressure is low. Your tires need air.

The dredded "check engine light" ... not harmful
Take your car to AutoZone to have the code analyzed (free). They casn also give you a print-out with an explanation of the issue (free). Have them reset the code.
Let us know what the code is and a summary of the print-out. Did I mention the service is free?

check that the timing belt/ chain is intact by seeing if the cam shaft is turning. Run fault codes to check for sensor failure.

I have a light on dashboard, its like a circle with a triangle in it, and in the triangle theres a exclimation point in it, the circle is not closed at one end theres an arrow head. dont know what this...

Its the ESP Light - Electronic Stability System.

If it's always on you should do a diagnosis with a scan tool to see what's the problem. After that i will help you more.

2001 ford focus zx3 temperature gauge goes in the red and the yellow exclimation comes on. But all coolant levels are ok and no leaks and the fans run.

the problem may be the temperature sensor or the gauge itself, it is most likely easier to replace the sensor than the gauge....hope this helps.......cheers

Check engine & exclamation point lights are

I believe the (!) Warning Light is your starter ignition light. But the check Engine Light coming on after just having a new motor put in. My suggestion is to take it back to the person who just put the motor in for you. Have them check all the wirings and make sure there are no cross connections. I had my engine rebuilt 5 yrs ago. And they told me that my transmission had a morning condition. It didn't like to work first thing in the morning especially during the Winter season. Also check all of your fuses.

A light came on that I dont know the meaning of. Its a U-shape with an exclimation point in the middle. Is it low transmission fluid?

that is the tire pressure monitor sign that you have a tire that is low on air check all tires make sure they are between 32-35 psi and the light should go out unless you have a switch on the dash with the same emblem to reset the light.
