Check your manual, its your Tire Pressure Monitoring System, the (!) means your tire pressure is low. Your tires need air.

The dredded "check engine light" ... not harmful
Take your car to AutoZone to have the code analyzed (free). They casn also give you a print-out with an explanation of the issue (free). Have them reset the code.
Let us know what the code is and a summary of the print-out. Did I mention the service is free?

That or a check tire pressure is the one I get all the time. My symbol looks a little like this one.
