What have you replaced with your tune up? should change plugs and plug wires, as well as the fuel filter, and air filter. the plugs should be set to factory spec.. be absolutely sure you've got the correct wires going to the correct plugs. the coil packs are a pain to get to but if all else fails, it may be time to replace them.

There is a single High Tension Lead that goes from the spark plug cap to the coil pack.

Or do you mean firing order from coil pack to plugs? Which wire goes from what cylinder to which coil?

98 land rover turns over but wont start

Get a used spark plug and hook it to a sparkplug wire and have someone crank it over and ground the plug and see if it sparks if it don't you have a problem with the computer or electronic ignition. Or it could be that it jumped timing.

Need spark plug gap setting

You can consult the parts house where you purchased the plugs and they will probably have the exact gap information for the model, make and plug type. Now days about 50 thousands is pretty well normal. If it's an older model try about 35-40 thousands. The difference is the newer models have a hotter ignition and run at a lot higher voltage. Also the plugs are designed different on some of them. P.S. you can get a little disc about the size of a half dollar that starts out at pratically '0' and goes up liner to about 65 - 70 thousands. Costs about a buck and will fit on your key chain. dhgill1949

I am looking for correct spark plug gap settings for 1999 4.6 HSE range rover

Look for a sticker around the engine compartment.

I could not find this specific specification for your year make and model on the library's website.

Check your owner's manual, if included with your vehicle.

good luck to you.

Engine won't start after replaceing fuel

IS the time off by chance? you could have changed the timing when you out the distributor back in. Did you gap the plugs correctly? Are the plug wires routed to the proper position.
