Is the bulbs keep blowing? or it not working at all? if one side is working fine beside the other, check the headlight contact and connections. if none of your headlight is not working than you have a problems however since one is working and the other is not, more likely will be the the socket contact, inspect the contact closely. leave the headlight on and put a new bulb in the socket, move it around and see if you have a short ground contact.

Get thecar tested for overcharging.if it's not the bulb may jusr have been defective of if it was a halogen bulb it may have been touched and the oil from your finger tips can make them blow prematurely.

Both low beam headlights are out bulbs have been recently replaced several times and driver side connection. They went out breifly a few months ago as we were driving and came back on in a few minutes

sounds like the switch assembly on the actually column ( what you use to turn the headlights on and off) may have went bad! and or the relay for the headlights. my money would be on the dimmer switch though considering the highbeam and lowbeam are 2 different circuits. thats if both the bulbs have been checked and found good as you say. good luck

Some bulbs are better quality than others.Maybe the other bulb is a brighter bulb. You can also try and adjust the bulb to make sure it is aimed correctly as this may help. I think the bulb is correct part for the car but of different quality than other bulb.

I think these bulbs are not as great as they are deemed to be. I bought and still use them. These bulbs create so much heat that your headlight will turn yellow looking from the heat. Also if you get a small amount of oil from the hands on these bulbs, they will burst. I just wonder if they were handled wrong by the person installing them. I personally don't care for them for the heat generated.. You may also have a bad connector which would be hard to say is on both sides. Another vehicle of ours which is a Ford had a bad connector.

Headlight went out in 2003 ford escape i have

you have to remove the whole headlight assembly, then pop off the front cover pull the old bulb out and put the new one in. reverse the process to re-install. there is a small plastic tab on the topfront of the headlight assembly, that is what you need to release to get the clear cover off and get inside.

How do you change the headlight bulb on a 1996 lexus ls 400

I can't tell you exactly how to do it on a lexus but generally bulbs are changed from the rear of the assembly inside the engine compartment. you may have to remove the battery if it is on that side. do not touch the bulb with your fingers as that will shorten it's lifespan.

2005 GMC Envoy passanger headlight

first, did you touch the bulb with your fingers when you put it in? if so it is likely you blew the bulb, you can not touch the glass of the bulb.

If that is not the problem, make sure the wiring going to the socket is not cracked corroded or pulled out.
