Question about 2005 Dodge Caravan
Re 2005 G re 2005 Grand Caravan blower motor (front) not working. Dlr says it needs new motor and control panel setup. Around $290 my cost just for parts. Should I look elsewhere for solution. Rear blower works fine. I am on social security so money is a real problem. Thank you. John Shanafelt
Check the blower resister, this controls the different fan speeds.
Is it the A/C pump or the Fan motor? If it is fan motor, check wires to make sure you are getting power to unit. If A/C pump, check clutch on pump.
Also check your fuses and also test the fan relay which can be found tracing the fan motor wires. You can use a multi-tester or ohmmeter to check fuse. If fuses and relay checks out ok, I would check brushes inside fan motor to see if they are worn.
Check for 12-volts at the blower motor. If 12 volts is present, replace the blower motor. If not, check for a faulty relay or fan switch.
Hope you willl be helpfull..
